Frequently Asked Questions

Are there any restrictions to join BARAKAH Business?

Businesses aiming to sponsor BARAKAH have to follow the Islamic guidelines in their practice and trade. Any products sold has to be manufactured in compliance with Islamic law, and can't contain any "forbidden" components (pork products, alcohol, or non halal meat). At the CYD, a specialized committee will review all submitted applications and confirm back to businesses once approved.

How are the BARAKAH contributions are spent?

BARAKAH contributions are designated to "keep the lights on" . In other words, cover the operational expanses that allows the center to continue provide it's regular services to the community.

I submitted the form, what's next?

Our team will look into your application and contact you once approved to welcome you into the BARAKAH family and schedule a date to deliver the BARAKAH business kit.

How can I renew my BARAKAH contribution?

BARAKAH contribution will be renewed automatically once you signup to the program.

What if the customer places the order online or through a 3rd party app?

BARAKAH is only applicable in store for the moment. No offers can be applied online or through a 3rd party.

What if the customer doesn't have the BARAKAH tag?

Customers have to show their tags to redeem the BARAKAH offer. In case of not having the tag, businesses have the right to decline the offer.

What if I need to change the offer or update it?

Can I cancel my monthly contribution to BARAKAH?

Your contribution can be cancelled at any time by sending an email to [email protected] with all your business details or directly through your Zeffy account.
